Recently at the launch event of the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro, it was hinted that Huawei will be launching a new Matebook in November and now it has been confirmed to be showcased on 6th November in Wuhan, China. Well, nothing much is known about the device as of now except for the fact that the new Matebook is capable of sharing 1000 photos with Mate 20 series phones in two seconds with a single button. From the slides that were shown at the event, the new Matebook looks to be the regular Matebook (not the Matebook X), an indication it will be the replacement for the standard Matebook.
Well, the poster which is released showcases a triple eye protection function on the device which will be the selling point. The previously launched Matebook X Pro was an ultrabook with its thin-bezel revolution and came with a 91 percent screen to body ratio. It has a 3:2 aspect ratio with 4.4mm bezels around and comes with 3000 x 2000 resolution on the 13.9-inch display. Under the hood, the device is equipped with Intel’s 8th generation Core U series processors in i5-8250U and i7-8550U.
The Matebook X Pro is available in 8G as well as 16GB RAM variants along with 256GB and 512GB of storage option. It comes with Intel’s Dual Band Wireless AC 8275 802.11ac 2×2:2 Dual-band connectivity and other connectivity options include one Type-C per, One TB3, One Type-A and one 3.5mm TRRS. The Core i5 variant without MX 150 was priced at $1199.99 while the Core i7 variant with MX 150 was made available for $1499.99. Do you own any of these Matebooks from Huawei?
