The top Chinese smartphone brand Huawei is also the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world next to Samsung and Apple. This year, the company had launched quite a few devices along with Nova and Nova Plus smartphones under the newly announced Nova series. Recently the company also announced that they had shipped over 100 million smartphones till November in 2016. For comparison, Huawei has shipped 100 million smartphones in the whole of 2015. With the upcoming flagship smartphone Mate 9, we can expect the company to sell even more smartphones by the end of 2016.

Talking about the newly listed smartphones, it comes with the model number DIG-AL00 and sports entry-level specifications. Just like many other Huawei devices, there is a Huawei logo on the front and back of the device. It sports 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. The device also includes 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded additionally upto 128GB. It runs on the customized EMUI based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In the camera department, there is 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies.

Just below the rear camera is the fingerprint sensor which can also be used for capturing selfies and accessing notification center & quick settings. It comes with metal body with plastic caps on the top and bottom rear of the device, just like LeEco Le 2 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 3. This dual SIM device also offers VoLTE along with 4G for making HD voice calls. The package also includes a transparent protective case along with other accessories. It is backed by a 2,920mAh non-removable battery that can give at least a day of usage considering the less powerful specifications.

It is mentioned to be available in Gold, Silver, Gray, and Rose Gold color options. The device measures 143 x 69.9 x 7.6 mm and weighs 138 grams. If the rumors are to be believed, the device will be launched as Huawei Enjoy 6 in China. It will be the successor to the Huawei Enjoy 5 which was launched in India as Honor Holly 2 Plus. While the Enjoy 5 sports a polycarbonate body, the upcoming Enjoy 6 comes with the metal body and also features a fingerprint sensor. It also sports similar specifications as DIG-AL00; however, it is backed by a much larger 4,000mAh battery. The Enjoy 5 came with just 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.

Last week, Huawei’s subbrand Honor launched the Honor 8, Honor 8 Smart, and Honor Holly 3 Smartphones in the Indian market. The Holly 3 priced at Rs. 9,999 is the most expensive device in the Holly series. It comes with 5.5-inch HD display and includes Kirin  620 octa-core processor. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage on this device. It also packs a 13MP rear camera, an 8 MP selfie camera, and a 3100mAh battery. It is 4G VoLTE supported device and works with Jio 4G SIM in India. On the other hand, the Honor 8 and Honor 8 Smart are priced at Rs. 29,999 and Rs. 19,999 respectively. For PhoneRadar readers, the Honor 8 will be available for just Rs. 28,999 (click here for additional Rs. 1,000 discount).
