Huawei Rolls Out New Update to its Mate 20 Pro, Brings AI Features for Video Recording

Huawei Mate 20 series was launch just a few days back and the company has already started rolling out their first OTA update for the Mate 20 Pro smartphone. The new update will be bringing new features and also improves camera functionality and not to forget the October security patch. The rollout has started via OTA update in the UK and South Africa region and the update is of 491 MB size.

With this update, the EMUI version will change to 9.0.0.126 and according to the official changelog, the update will bring more filters and effects to the camera of the Mate 20 Pro. It will bring AI color, Zoom , background blue and a few other changes to the video camera of the phone. Along with these, there is the usual security patch that comes with the update for the month of October.

If you are from the above-mentioned regions and have not received the update yet, you can go to the setting of the smartphone and check for the update manually from the system update section. If the update is available, the user needs to download it and then install it accordingly. Make sure that the data on the device is backed up before the installation begins and also the battery on phone is more than 60 percent. We suggest you download the update via Wi-Fi connectivity as the size of it is 491 MB.

Coming to the Mate 20 Pro, it is powered with the latest Kirin 980 SoC which will support AI using its dual NPU’s and it much more effective than the Kirin 970 chipset. Moreover, the triple camera set up on the device has also bought in Geet response in the market.
