Its been a day already since Huawei has unveiled its new flagship smartphones – the Huawei P30 and the Huawei P30 Pro smartphones at an event held in Paris, France. The standout feature of both devices apart from the top-of-the-line specifications are the new triple rear cameras on the back with 40MP+16MP+8MP sensors (following the footsteps of its predecessor) and the reduced water drop notch for larger screen-to-body-ratio and also the striking new gradient colors on the back as well. While the much-hyped flagship devices – the Huawei P30 and P30 were launched yesterday, there hasn’t been any official confirmation about the trimmed down version of these flagship phones.
Yes, the trimmed version of the Huawei P30 smartphones – the Huawei P30 Lite is already up for pre-order on the company’s Canadian website. The site reveals the pre-order of the P30 Lite smartphone starting from March 26th and going all the way up to April 10th and heading over to the respective e-commerce websites where the pre-order has to be made revealed all the detailed specifications of the new Huawei P30 Lite smartphone.
Firstly, the trimmed down version of the Huawei P30 smartphones – the P30 Lite shares the striking looks of its big brothers. Yes, the P30 Lite also features gradient color design-build on the back and the reduced notch design as well. Digging into the specifications, we have a 6.15-inch Full HD LCD display with the notch – as stated earlier. Unlike the flagships, the P30 Lite is powered by Huawei’s Kirin 710 SoC and also features GPU Turbo 2.0 for gaming. It is further followed by 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage, which also supports micro SD expansion of up to 512GB.
Despite being the trimmed down version, the P30 Lite still has decent cameras set up as well. The rear of the device packs in triple cameras comprising of a 24MP primary sensor paired with 8MP and 2MP sensors. On the front, the device packs in a 32MP selfie shooter in the tiny notch on the large display.
The Huawei P30 Lite ships with Android Pie based EMUI out-of-the-box, and, and lastly, it features a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also has face unlock feature for authentication. The details of the pricing and availability of the P30 Lite is still unclear as of now. The Huawei P30 Lite is said to be coming in two color variants – the Midnight Black and the Gradient Peacock Blue.
