Huawei P20 Pro along with Honor View 10 starts Receiving Android 9.0 Pie in Europe

Not very long, we have seen the Mate 10 Pro getting Android 9.0 Pie although it was not officially announced, now there are reports suggesting that Huawei P20 Pro is going to get the update with the latest Android flavor. Similar to the Mate 10 Pro, even this device is getting this update only in the Europe region and we expect it to be Globally out for all the devices by the end of this year.
We have also seen that Honor View 10 has also started receiving the Android 9 Pie Operating system in the same region as of now which will also be extended globally soon. The built number of the View 10 update is 9.0.0.108 which is out for the BKL-L09 model. The users have already started receiving the update via OTA which also brings EMUI 9.0 along with features like GPU Turbo 2.0, password vault, few Digital Wellbeing features (that lets you know the amount of time spent on the mobile which also lets you set time limits), Quicker app launches and a travel assistant.
Coming to the Huawei P20 Pro, the official changelogs that are mentioned on the companies hi cloud servers include improvements and new features. The software version for the update in Europe is CLT-L09c432E5R1P7 and the build number is 9.0.0.108 which is same as the View 10 and Mate 10 Pro. Since the rollout has been phased, the users might have to wait a little longer the update to hit their handset.
You can always check for the update manually by hiding to the about phone section from the setting and click on system updates. If the update is available, download it and install.
