The Huawei Nova 3 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 34,999. It comes in Irish Purple and Black color options and will be on sale starting August 23rd. On the other hand, the Huawei Nova 3i powered by the newly announced Kirin 710 chipset is priced at Rs 20,999. It comes with 4GB of RAM and will be in stock starting August 7th.

Earlier: Huawei has been teasing about the Nova 3 smartphones and Talkband B5 fitness tracker from last few weeks. It even listed these new products on its official website last week itself. Now, the company has officially announced the devices along with pricing and availability details. While the Huawei Talkband B5 and Nova 3 will go on sale later this month in China, the Nova 3i smartphone will be available starting next month. While there is no confirmation about the availability of these newly launched products outside of China, the Nova 3i has been teased to launch in Southeast Asian markets.

Huawei Nova 3

The Huawei Nova 3 will be the affordable Huawei branded smartphone to come with Kirin 970 chipset. It is the third-generation device in the high-end Nova series. Just like the earlier launched Nova devices, the new Nova 3 also comes with premium looking design and solid specifications. It comes with 3D curved glass back body and will be available in gradient-finish Purple, Black, Blue, and Gold color options. On the front is the 6.3-inch IPS notch display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio.

As mentioned earlier, the device comes with HiSilicon Kirin 970 octa-core processor coupled with Mali-G72 MP12 GPU and a dedicated NPU. The device also supports the newly announced GPU Turbo technology out of the box. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot. In the camera department, the device sports dual cameras on the front and rear. While we have seen quite a few smartphones with quad camera setup, the Nova 3 is the first smartphone with notch display and quad cameras.

On the rear, the device sports 16MP RGB sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 24MP Monochrome sensor with f/1.8 aperture. For selfies, there is a 24MP + 2MP dual camera setup with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 out of the box. The device is backed by a 3,750mAh battery that also supports fast charging using the USB Type-C port. While there is a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the device also supports face unlock option. It measures 157.0 × 73.7 × 7.3 mm and weighs 166 grams. The device is priced at 2999 Yuan and is currently available for pre-orders.

Huawei Nova 3i

While the design of the Nova 3i looks similar to that of Nova 3, there are a few noticeable difference. Though the device comes with the glass back body, it actually sports 2.5D curved on the front and rear. Even the specifications of the device are trimmed to make it a bit more affordable. The Nova 3i sports a 6.3-inch IPS display with Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:5:9 aspect ratio. It comes powered by the all-new Kirin 710 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz. The device comes in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB storage variants.

There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. Just like the Nova 3, the Nova 3i also comes with EMUI 8.2 out of the box and supports GPU Turbo technology. In the camera department, the device sports 16MP + 2MP dual rear camera setup and 24MP + 2MP dual front camera setup. The Nova 3i is kept powered on by a 3,340mAh battery. It measures 157.6 × 75.2 × 7.6 mm and weighs 169 grams. The device will be available in Black, White, and Purple color options. While the 4GB RAM costs 1999 Yuan, the 6GB RAM variant with 64GB of internal storage is priced at 2199 Yuan.

Talking about the other products, the TalkBand B5 will be costing 999 Yuan for the rubber strap variant. There is also a 360-degree camera priced at 599 Yuan. It comes with a USB Type-C port and has to be connected to the smartphone for capturing photos or videos. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
