We have seen a plethora of budget smartphones from Huawei and Honor with the in-house Kirin 659 chipset. Recently, the company also launched a few smartphones with Qualcomm Snapdragon processors. Now, Huawei came up with a new budget smartphone powered by MediaTek processor. The all-new Honor Enjoy 8e Youth comes with a price tag of 799 Yuan and offers decent specifications. Earlier to this, the company also launched Huawei Enjoy 8e with Snapdragon 430 processor and 13MP + 2MP dual rear cameras.
Talking about the Enjoy 8e Youth, it sports a 5.45-inch 18:9 display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6739 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The device offers 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card. It comes with the Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.1 out of the box. In the camera department, the Enjoy 8e Youth comes with a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
Both the front and rear cameras come accompanied by a LED flash. The device is backed by a 3,020mAh battery and lacks fast charging support. While there is no fingerprint sensor on this device, the company is offering face unlock feature. The device comes with a triple card slot where the user can add two nano SIM cards along with a MicroSD card. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, 3.5mm audio jack, and MicroUSB 2.0 port. It measures 146.5 x 70.9 x 8.3 mm and weighs 142 grams.
