HTC’s Halfbreak Android wear Leaks with Circular Display

HTC’s is rumoured to be making an Android Wear smartwatch from a quite a time now which is getting delayed. Now images of HTC’s first every Android wear has been leaked online codenamed as Halfbreak and also comes with a circular 360 x 360 display. The famous tipster Evan Blass said this device could go official in the month of June but that was not to happen. It was also expected that HTC would be unveiling this device in the MWC held earlier this year in the month February. With the new leaked images, we can be sure that the device will be going official very soon.

HTC has been planning an Android wear from past couple of years and it is yet to enter the smartwatch segment since many Android manufacturers like Motorola, Samsung, Sony, ASUS and few other have already entered into this business. This leaked device will be coming with silicon straps which could be seen from the images and there are two buttons on the right of the device which will be having different functionalities. The frame surrounding the display looks to be made of plastic and on the back, there is a microphone.

We can also spot the magnetic connector on the back used for charging and also the heart rate sensor, which has become mandatory for all the Android wears. Other images also reveal the bootloader screen as well as the custom recovery screen as we can see on the smart phones to hard reset as well as wipe data.

HTC has been one of the biggest Android manufacturers from few years but it is seeing a down fall from a couple of years. It is striving hard to get back the previous fame and compete against all other big manufactures. Nothing has been mentioned about the pricing or the other specifications but we can expect the launch of the device very soon.
