Honor Tab 5 Launched with 8″ Display, Kirin 710 SoC & 5100mAh Battery
Honor has launched a new tablet called the Honor Tab 5 which will be available in both Wi-Fi and LTE variants. This device will be going for sale in China starting March 12 from TMall, VMall, Suning and a few more while the preorders start today and end on March 10th. There is no information on the global availability of this device as of now and it will be available in 3GB+32GB (WiFi) version for 1099 yuan (approx Rs. 11,500) while the 4GB+64GB (WiFi) version will go for sale for 12,99 yuan (approx Rs.13,600 ).
The 3GB+32GB LTE version costs 1399 yuan (approx Rs. 14,700 ) while the 4GB+64GB LTE version is priced at 1499 yuan (approx Rs. 15,700). Now, talking about the specs the tab will be featuring an 8-inch Display with 1920 x 1200 Pixels resolutions and has an 8MP camera sensor on the front and rear side. Under the hood, the tablet comes with a Smart PA audio chip that senses the status of the dual speakers in real time and adjusts the amplitude of the speaker to improve the sound level and bring richer bass and improved sound quality.
To power the device there is a big 5100mAh battery while it has a 64-bit Octa-core HiSilicon SoC with four Cortex-A73 at 2.2 GHz and four Cortex-A53 at 1.7 GHz coupled with ARM Mali G51 MP4 GPU. It will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM options with 32GB and 64GB storage options. Furthermore, Honor has also included GPU Turbo 2.0 to boost the graphics and make it hardcore gaming friendly.
