At the Honor 5C launch event, the company also launched the rumored Honor T1 7.0 tablet. It comes with basic specifications which makes the device available for just Rs. 6,999. The Huawei sub-brand is gunning for the tablet market share in the country as it is their second year. The brand which already has successful handsets in each category such as Honor Holly 2 Plus, Honor 5X andHonor 7, while excluding other models like Honor 4X, Honor 6 and Honor 6 Plus, which are the previous iterations.
The tablet misses the 4G LTE connectivity but includes 3G calling feature. It looks same as the 8-inch Huawei Honor tablet that was launched a couple of years back. The Honor T1 7.0 comes with a WSVGA (1024 x 600 pixels) resolution. Interestingly, the device runs on years old Android 4.4 Kitkat that also the advanced security features. The 4,100mAh battery on this tablet can give decent battery life considering less powerful specifications. It packs a 2MP sensor on front and back of the device.
It is powered by the Spreadtrum SC7731G quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion. Just like Honor 5C, the Honor T1 7.0 tablet will be sold exclusively through Flipkart and is already available in stock.
