Honor 6C Pro Smartphone Announced with 3GB RAM & Fingerprint Sensor

The sub-brand of Huawei has announced Honor 6C Pro which is the rebrand of Honor V9 Play that was introduced last month in China. This new device from Honor will come in Black, Gold and Blue color variants and is priced at 179 Euros. Nothing is known about the launch date as of now but it will go for sale in European and France market soon. It will be featuring a metallic body and will also come with a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels.

Coming to the device, the Honor 6C Pro will sport a 5.2-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) touchscreen display with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, there is a 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6750 64-bit SoC with eight cores coupled with Mali T860 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The onboard storage is limited to 32GB which can be extended further up to a maximum of 128GB via microSD card slot.

Out of the box, the device will come with Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with the companies own EMUI 5.1 on top but nothing about the further updates is mentioned. There is a Hybrid Dual SIM slot where the first slot is a nano SIM slot while the second slot also supports nano-sized SIM which can be used with microSD card slot. On the rear, there is a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash and also has PDAF, F/2.0 aperture, 5P lens and 1.12-micrometer pixel size.

There is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture size and has a fingerprint sensor on the rear to enhance the security levels. The device measures 147.9 x 73.2 x 7.65 mm and weighs 145grams. The handset supports 4G VoLTE connectivity and also has other connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, and A-GPS.
