Just last month, Honor has officially launched the Honor 10i as an upgrade to the Honor 10 Lite. Apart from the cameras, both these devices share the same internals. Today, the company posted a new teaser video on Weibo confirming the launch fo Honor 20i smartphone on April 17th in Beijing. As seen on the Honor 10i, the Honor 20i is also said to come with a 32MP selfie camera. While there is no confirmation, we are expecting the Honor 10i to be launched as Honor 20i in China.
From the teaser video, we can confirm the Honor 20i to come with waterdrop notch display and gradient color options. The newly launched Honor 10i also came with waterdrop notch display and is made available in Blue and Red color options with gradient finish. We need to wait till next week to know the complete specifications of the Honor 20i smartphone. Recently, we have also seen leaks about the upcoming flagship smartphone from Honor – the Honor 20 Pro.
Talking about the Honor 10i, the device come with a 6.21-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display with waterdrop notch and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the 12nm HiSilicon Kirin 710 octa-core processor featuring 4x Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and 4x Cortex-A53 clocked at 1.7GHz. The Mali G51 MP4 GPU looks after the graphical performance of the chipset. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which can also be expandable using the hybrid SIM card slot.
However, adding the MicroSD card will trade-off the dual SIM support. On the rear, the Honor 10i sports 24MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. There is a 32MP AI selfie camera on the front. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box with EMUI 9.0 skin laid on top. Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more details!
