Earlier this year, Honor launched the Honor View 20 smartphone as the world’s first smartphone to come equipped with the 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor. It also sports punch-hole display featuring 25MP selfie camera. Now, the company is getting ready to launch yet another flagship smartphone called Honor 20 as the successor to the last year’s Honor 10. The image posted on Weibo reveals the complete specifications of the device along with the pricing of all the storage variants and also the DxOMark score.

Since there is no trusted source backing this, take these details with a pinch of salt. The Honor 20 is mentioned to come with a 6.1-inch AMOLED display which might offer Full HD+ resolution. Its good to see finally the company has finally opted for the OLED panel over the LCD panel. As seen on the Honor View 20, the Honor 20 will also come powered by 7nm HiSilicon Kirin 980 octa-core processor coupled with Mali G76 GPU and dual NPU.

In terms of optics, the Honor 20 will be offering triple camera setup on the rear featuring 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor along with a 20MP & 8MP sensors. With the dedicated telephoto sensor, the device will also offer 3x optical zoom. The leaked image also mentioned the DxOMark score of the rear cameras as 108. On the front, we will be looking at a 32MP selfie camera. Even the upcoming OnePlus 7 is also rumored to feature the same 32MP selfie camera.

The Honor 20 will be backed by a 3,650mAh non-removable battery and also supports 5V/4.5A (22.5W) super fast charging. It will be running on Android 9.0 Pie based EMUI 9.0 out of the box and includes all the software-based enhancements like GPU & CPU Turbo, Link Turbo, AI GPS & others. Since there is no fingerprint scanner on the rear, we expect it to come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The device will be coming three different storage options – 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB & 8GB + 256GB. Talking about the pricing, the base variant of the device will be retailing at just CNY 2999 (approx USD 446 / INR 31,300). Stay tuned on PhoneRadar for more updates!
