HMD Nokia 9 PureView India Launch Teased in a Video

Nokia 9 PureView was unveiled at the MWC 2019 in Spain last month and a few days later it also got an update. Now Nokia India has posted a teaser video of its Penta rear cameras flagship phone and it is expected to be unveiled soon in the country. India has been one of the key markets for Nokia although we need to get more details about the availability and pricing of the same which should be known in the coming days.
The Nokia 9 PureView comes with a total of six cameras with 5 on the rear and one on the front for selfies. The flagship device gets a 5.99-inch. QHO+ pOLED PureDisplay that offers a resolution of 2K HD with the protection Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. Under the hood, the handset does not get the latest Snapdragon 855 SoC instead Nokia is using its predecessor Snapdragon 845 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. To enhance the security levels, the Nokia 9 PureView comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
The device comes out of the box with Android 9.0 Pie and also comes under the Android One Program. The onboard storage on the handset is 128GB which could be extended further via the MicroSD card slot. Well, now let’s talk about the hyped five-cameras setup on the rear as it features five 12MP camera sensors, which are also Carl Zeiss optics. Three cameras out of the five are monochrome sensors while the other two are capable of capturing full-color photos.
These cameras are getting Lux Capacitor image processing chipset and multi-lens L16 camera tech which lets five cameras to capture more light. There is also a 20MP camera on the front for selfies and has a 3320mAh battery which supports wireless charging with 12W support and the handset is available in Midnight Blue color option.
