HMD Global Announces Price Cut on Nokia 4.2 & Nokia 3.2 in India

At the MWC 2019, HMD Global unveiled the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 entry-level Android One smartphones. Last month, the company launched both these new smartphones in the Indian market. The Nokia 4.2 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and is priced at Rs 10,990. On the other hand, the Nokia 3.2 with 2GB and 3GB of RAM is priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,790 respectively. Now, the company announced a limited discount on both these devices will be valid until month end.
After the new discount, the Nokia 3.2 and Nokia 4.2 will start retailing from Rs 8,150 and Rs 9,690 respectively. Both the smartphones are already available through Nokia online store and Amazon.in at the discounted prices. Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 4.2 comes with a 5.71-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 Mobile Platform. On the rear, the device sports 13MP + 2MP dual camera setup on the rear with f/2.2 aperture.
For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. It is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and features a MicroUSB port for charging. Coming to the Nokia 3.2, it sports a 6.26-inch HD+ (1520 x 720 pixels) display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 429 Mobile Platform. In the camera department, the Nokia 3.2 offers a 13MP camera on the rear and a 5MP selfie camera on the front.
Both the devices will be running on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and offer Pure Android experience. Since these devices are part of Android One family, they will receive at least two major OS updates and monthly security patch updates for three years. Unlike the 3GB RAM variant, there is no fingerprint scanner on the 2GB RAM variant of the Nokia 3.2. Compared to Nokia 4.2, the Nokia 3.2 also comes with a bigger 4,000mAh battery.
