Highscreen Launches Pure Power Smartphone with 8000mAh Battery in Russia

Recently, we have seen smartphones that come with powerful batteries and most of all. Now, the Russian-based handset maker, Highscreen has introduced a new smartphone, which comes with 8000mAh capacity battery called as Pure Power and has been listed on their company’s website with all specifications. The tagline of the smartphone is the powerbank in your packet. We know the Chinese manufacture company, Oukitel knows for launching the smartphones with larger batteries such as Oukitel K4000, Oukitel K6000 Pro and Oukitel K10000.

The Highscreen Pure Power smartphone comes in Black, Blue and orange color options and is available for buy at shop.highscreen website at a price tag of 7490 pesos. It features a 5.0-inch IPS display that comes with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It offers a pixel density is 294 PPI and has a mineral glass protection on the front. This smartphone runs on the Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box with pre-installed applications.

Under the hood, the device comes packed with a MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor that clocks at 1.3 GHz accompanied by Mali 400 graphics. The device supports dual SIM and offers limited to a 3G network. The other connectivity options include Bluetooth v4.0, Micro USB port, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack and GPS / A-GPS. It houses an 8GB of internal memory with expandable storage via microSD card slot and has a 1 GB of RAM.

As per as cameras are concerned, this smartphone bears a 5-megapixel primary camera with LED flash and will record videos in 1080p at 30 frames per second. On the front, it comes with a 2-megapixel secondary camera for selfies and video chats. Measuring of the device dimensions is 146 x 76 x 15.5 mm and is weighing around 239 grams. The sensors on the device include Proximity sensor, Light sensor and G-sensor.

The main USP of the device is a massive non-removable 8000 mAh capacity battery; this can work as a power bank to charge other devices. As on now, the device is available in only Russian electronic market and is the low-end device at an affordable price segment.

    With 3G and a 720p screen this battery is an overkill for the device, at 239g it’s a little heavy than normal devices but what you get is a phone that won’t die very soon and a power bank.
