There have been reports about crash and speed trap on Google Maps back in November last year and was followed in December. Now the fresh leaks suggest that the Google Maps users will now be able to see Speed Traps on their Google Maps and will also get vocal warnings from it. Few have already started receiving the update and screenshots are shared by Android users clearly shows icons of speed cameras when on the maps while driving.
Google Maps is also said to give a vocal cue when the driver is approaching a speed trap making it easier for the driver. The feature is getting rolled out slowly to the Google Maps users and unfortunately, there isn’t a way to do it manually so you have to sit back and wait for the update. This is similar to a Waze-Like feature that reports crash and speed traps and with this feature on Google Maps, we will definitely see many moving back.
This Waze like feature will definitely be helpful to the drivers to be safe from the speed traps and drive according to the speed limits. Most of the users will be excited about this news but since the rollout has just started, it might take some time before it officially reaches your device.
