Earlier this week, Google has officially revealed the rear view of the upcoming Google Pixel 4 smartphone. Now, the same device is reportedly spotted in the wild revealing the huge square camera module on the rear. As per the source, it could be the large Pixel 4 XL. Even the last year’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL which came with different screen sizes looked the same from the back. As per the leaked the renders, the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will come with the same design.
Since the device is inside of a case, we can only the camera module on the top left corner. Even the fabric case in the image looks familiar. It looks exactly similar to the Carbon fabric case which the company launched with the Google Pixel 3 smartphones. While there are no photos revealing the front view of the Pixel 4, it is mentioned to come with the same dual selfies camera setup as seen on the last year’s Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
Even though the company officially revealed the design of the device in the month of June, the official launch event will still take place in the month of October. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform built on 7nm FinFET node. The rumors suggest the company might increase the RAM from 4GB to 6GB with these upcoming devices. Also, there might no fingerprint scanner on this device. Instead, the company will introduce high secure face recognition technology to unlock the device faster.
The recently launched Google Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL mid-range smartphones came with the 3.5mm audio jack. However, the company won’t be bringing it back to the flagship lineup, at least with the PIxel 4 smartphones. Both the Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will become the first ever smartphones to run on the new Android Q out of the box. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
