Tomorrow, Google is all set for announcing their latest smartphone handsets in the form of Pixel. For a fact as the launch time comes nearby the rumors about devices and new announcements start to pop up online quickly. Earlier today, one such leak came regarding the specifications of the Pixel & Pixel XL smartphones. Apart from the Pixel devices announcement, the Mountain View giant is all set to launch the Google Home, the Amazon Echo inspired assistant feature. It was originally unveiled at Google I/O developer conference in May this year. This smart home speaker is expected to be made available by the company from tomorrow, or the dates for availability might be announced tomorrow.

As important the Pixel smartphone would be for the company, the Google Home would mark the one more product entry to IoT (Internet of Things) range. In case you didn’t know, Google owns Nest, the popular smart temperature controller devices. With Google Home, users would be able to ask anything to Google. It is basically your personal assistant for searching any query online as the device would be connected to the internet.

It would be sitting on your desk or even on the Kitchen table, wherever you like. With a stylish elegant cylindrical design having curves, the Smart Home Speaker would be a decoration to your table. This wireless speaker would be powered by Google Assistant, company’s virtual assistant. There is an inbuilt software on the device that will allow it to connect with other IoT products. Reportedly, there might be an integration of Chromecast dongles and new Google Home device might happen into a new single app called Google Home. It is also rummer that Google Home might be compatible with Samsung’s SmartThings. As well as following the launch, the company might offer Google Assistant integration to third-party smart speakers.

What we already know about Google Home is that it will be powered by the voice-based virtual Assistant. It would be able to perform tasks such as set reminders, turn on TV, control music as well as everything smart connected devices. Google may rebrand Google cast app as Home App. Thus, this new app would be able to control all the smart devices such as Chromecast dongles and the new Google home, all single-handedly.

On top of that it was reported, the device would be coming with a support of SmartThings, which is Samsung’s Internet of Things platform. The home automation products platform from South Korean giant would give a great kick-start to the Google Home. As home automation is still has a long way to go in terms of convincing people. For enthusiasts who are interested and Samsung being popular among Android devices consumers, it would be a great combination.
