Google Cast Powered Vizio P-Series 4K Displays Launched with 6″ Android Tablet as Remote Control

Vizio, an America based consumer electronic company, has unveiled three new Ultra HD displays under the new P-series with smart cast support. The all new 2016 VIZIO SmartCast P-Series Ultra HD Displays come in four different sizes – 50″, 55″, 65″ and 75″. All the four smart cast displays come with 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160 pixels) resolution, HDR with Dolby Vision and built-in Google Cast. Interestingly there is no built-in Wi-Fi but has an ethernet port. As this is just a display, there is no tuner and comes with a total of 5 HDMI and 2 USB ports.
While the 75″ variant has dual 15W speakers, all the other three variants come with dual 10W speakers. Along with the display, the company also provides a Remote Controller and 6-inch Android Tablet. The tablet features a 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display and is powered by a V8 octa-core processor. The Aluminium built tablet also includes built-in dual speakers and supports wireless charging.
Since the display has built-in Google Cast support, users can stream any multimedia content from the provided tablet wirelessly. We can content from Youtube, Netflix, Hulu, and many others. Apart from the remote control and Vizio’s tablet, any other Android or iOS device with Google Cast support can also be used as a remote controller by downloading the ‘Vizio SmartCast App’ from Play Store or App Store.
Talking about the price, the 75″ P-series Smart Cast 4K Display costs while $3,800 while the 65″, 55″, and 50″ displays costs $2,000, $1,300, and $1,000 respectively. While there is no tuner, we can still watch live TV by connecting through the setup box via HDMI port. Earlier today we have talked about the Ultra HD LED TV’s from LYF where the high-end 65-inch 4K resolution TV costs around $3,000 and 50-inch 4K TV is priced at $1,350 which seems to be costlier than the Vizio P-Series 4K displays.
