Gionee Pioneer P2M Unboxing

Gionee has launched some of the unconventional handsets during its time in the country; this smartphone is also one of them. The Pioneer P2M, a device that is supposed to be an upgrade to the 2013 device, Pioneer P2, sports a 4-inch 480p display and a Rs. 6,999 price tag. This combination of display and pricing is considered very unconventional in the current smartphone scenario.

The Marathon P2M comes with MediaTek Quad-Core chipset coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB internal storage, additionally you can expand the storage up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Talking about the Cameras, the device packs 5MP rear shooter, which is enabled with an LED flash. The front-facing camera on the device is of 2MP, which is not on par with the quality of the current budget smartphone range in the country.

Though, what’s interesting is that it is running on Amigo 3.0 UI, which is based on the Android Lollipop 5.1 version. The dual SIM enabled device offers connectivity features like 3G, GPS, Wi-Fi and other essentials that can be seen on most of the budget friendly device. The device is powered by a massive 3000mAh capacity battery, which is very large for a 4-inch display smartphone.
