Fitbit Fitness Trackers with HRM, Location and Smartphone Connectivity coming soon

Fitbit already having a great set of wearable devices and fitness trackers is going to take up the competition coming from bigger companies in wearable devices category by including many new features. That are not just Software upgrades or design variations but with all new features and services to keep up with the competition in the fitness tracking community.

Fitbit is going to introduce three new models namely PurePulse, Surge and Charge devices which will be bringing features like HRM or Heart Rate Monitor, Location or GPS and smartphone connectivity. These features might not be incorporated into a single device as we can see from the device names that they specify certain functions they might perform.

Fitbit PurePulse: As the name suggests it is a device that will be equipped with a Heart Rate Monitor, according to sources the device will be with features similar to Fitbit Force. It can be connected with devices like PC/Laptop or Smartphone Wirelessly using Pure Pulse. The PurePulse device can track and store your Heart rate to help keep a track on your health on the go.

Fitbit Surge: This is a device which will be having the second feature which Fitbit is venturing into the location services using GPS. Or Global positioning system which can be very useful for people who are more into adventure sports like trekking, climbing, etc. Where location and gps tracking is very important to know your location using satellites and also keep an eye on the weather, temperature, Wind speed, etc. With it, you can also track your footsteps by pedometer and also the current height to which you have climbed with the help of Altimeter.

Fitbit Charge: It is also a device that is having functions as the name suggests to help you get charged up all day and night. It has features like Get active, Eat better, Manage weight and Sleep better this is surely going to be an app to not just keep a track on your fitness alone but to help you maintain your fitness. It is going to come with a tag line of Dedicated to helping you maintain your fitness.

Fitbit is surely trying to keep a good share of the wearables market by keeping all types of users in mind. And giving what they look for in the form of wearables, and also keeping in mind the competition with many big names already into the market and many more entering it actively.
