First look at UHANS A101, A 5″ Smartphone inspired by Nokia

UHANS is a little known Chinese smartphone manufacturer that produces affordable smartphones. Now we got the first look images of the recently announced UHANS A101. The company mentioned the device was launched as a tribute to the fallen giant Nokia. Just like the Nokia devices, the A101 comes with a sturdy build quality. It is expected to be priced on the lower side when compared with other devices sporting similar hardware. It is confirmed to be launched in White and Black color and might also be available in Gold color by the time of launch.

It sports a 5-inch display with a 2.5D glass laid on top. We expect the device to come with at least HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The UHANS A101 runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. It comes with a metal frame with curved edges on the side for better grip. It is said to pack a removable battery for replacing once the battery is empty.

There is no other information available about this device and we will be updating once the device is officially launched next month. Last month, UHANS also launched another affordable smartphone UHANS Balance powered by the MediaTek MT6753 quad-core processor.

It came with a 5.5-inch display along with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 2,850mAH battery and the company said to skipped the fingerprint sensor to keep the costs down. Along with UHANS, there are many other Chinese manufacturers like Vernee, who are offering high-end devices at much lower price. The Vernee Apollo priced at $399 came with 2K Display with 3D Touch support, Helio X25 SoC, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
