Exclusive – Micromax Canvas1 Smartphone with Smart Key to launch at Rs 6999

Smartphone maker Micromax is going to launch a new entry-level device dubbed as Canvas1 at a price of Rs. 6,999 in India. This is a news we have exclusively received from our source and this is the first time you are hearing about this Smartphone. This device will be coming with an iPhone like Smart key that can be assigned to take a picture, Screenshot or turn on the torch and switch to silent mode easily. Moreover, the handset will come with the support of 22 different regional languages so that every citizen of India will be able to use the handset in their language.

The Micromax Canvas1 comes with a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D Sharp IN-CELL display & 400nits of brightness. The In-Cell display is capable of decreasing 1/4th of the normal screen thickness and provides a high rate of penetration and brighter display even under sunlight. This affordable handset will be powered by a MediaTek MT6737 quad-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The device supports dual SIM and also has a separate SD card slot.

The device will be coming out of the box with Android Nougat and also comes with the stereo Sound dual speakers for better sound quality. The handset supports 4G VoLTE connectivity which makes sure that the user is able to use all the services provided by Reliance Jio. The onboard storage is 16GB that can be extended upto 64GB with a microSD card. The device also supports OTG to transfer files quickly and also has High Glaze finish in Chrome and Matte Black design.

On the camera front, the device sports an 8MP primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 1.4 μm large pixel size. There is also a 5MP wide-angle selfie camera with a flash to capture a wide range of selfies. To power the handset there is a 2500 mAh battery. The rear camera comes with many features, where the Face beauty mode come with age detection feature, and the device also lets its user take long screenshot upto 10 pages without having to take multiple screenshots.

The company has decided to add this new device in its famous Canvas series and it is expected to be launched soon. The phone is priced aggressively to compete with the OPPO A37 & Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro Smartphones.
