Samsung Galaxy Note 5 - Factory Reset

  • Step 1: Launch the settings app.
  • Step 2: Head over to personal list and tap on Backup and reset
  • Step 3: In the new window, scroll down to reset section and tap on Factory data reset.

  • Step 4: In the new list, it will show you the set of accounts on your device, now tap on Reset Device.
  • Step 5: A warning message will appear on the screen. Make sure you have made the backup . Now click on Erase Everything.

  • Step 6: The device boot and enters the Android system recovery mode. Now in the recovery menu use the volume buttons to access the screen, head over to the wipe data/ Factory reset and press the power button to proceed.

  • Step 7: A warning message appears on the screen stating ‘Confirm wipe of all user data? THIS CAN NOT BE UNDONE.’ Now, select ‘Yes– delete all user data’ and press the power button.
