Always configure the emergency services on your smartphones, don’t underestimate the sudden need of help. You might require or your family member might have a smartphone without the emergency services configured. Think like its a must to enable the emergency contact services on your smartphone. If you have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and looking to configure and enable the SOS messages services, then you’re at right place. Just follow our simple instructions to configure this service quickly.
Step 1: Launch the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down to the personal section and click on Privacy and safety.
Step 3: Now under the Safety option you’ll see ‘Send SOS message’, you have to tap on it.
Step 4: You’ll see the toggle button, switch it ON to enable this.
Step 5: You need to ensure that if you want pictures as well audio recording to be sent. If yes switch ON the toggles in front of the options
Step 6: Now further ensure that these messages going to the right contacts. To add contacts, tap on ‘Send messages to’ option and there you can manage the contacts that need to be added or removed from your SOS list.
Step 7: You can create a new contact as well or select the existing contacts from the list.
Step 8: Enter the contact details and click on Save button

Send SOS message is enabled on your device.
Note :
In case of any emergency you need to press the power key quickly 3 times to send a quick alert to you emergency contacts.
You can add four contacts details to whom you can contact in case of emergency.
The additional feature of this option is you can attach a picture or else an audio recording by enabling the Attach pictures and Attach audio recording in Send SOS messages.
