DooGee, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has announced their latest smartphone ‘DooGee F3‘ and it higher variant ‘DooGee F3 Pro.’ Though both the same look alike from the outside, the difference only lies in the RAM and display resolution.

The F3 comes with a 5-inch HD (1280×720) display while the F3 Pro has the same screen size but with a FullHD (1920×1080) resolution. Both the device has a 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection on top of the display. The devices are powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz.

The F3 comes with 2GB of RAM, and the F3 Pro has 3GB of RAM packed in it. There is 16GB of internal storage out of which only 12.3GB is available to the end users. There is also a microSD card slot option for storage expansion up to a maximum 64GB.

Coming to the camera, there is a 13MP rear camera with an aperture of f/2.2 and dual LED flash. It is accompanied by an 8MP front camera. The device comes with a battery of 2,200mAh capacity and includes fast charging capabilities that can charge up to 70% in just 30 minutes.

It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with connectivity features like 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and microUSB 2.0. Both the devices measure 143 x 69.5 x 6.8 mm and weighs 170 grams.

On the back of the device, it has an ultra clear glass back cover and can be changeable with back covers that DooGee provides. The back covers list includes Ebony, Bamboo, Black Apricot and Kevlar along with Back Glass of Crystal White and Obsidian Black.

Here is the test to prove the originality of the Bamboo back cover with fire and bend test. DooGee chooses the real Bamboo because of the strong resilience of it. The lightness and toughness of the Bamboo make it a perfect match smartphones.

The Bamboo cover is made of fiberglass and real bamboo, and finally gets painted to improve the smoothness. The Bamboo cover without the paint coated is fired, and it doesn’t catch any fire. Even bending the Bamboo cover to the maximum level doesn’t cause any cracks.
