Coolpad Note 3 Plus with 5.5″ Full HD Display & 5MP Selfie Camera Launched

Earlier this week, Coolpad had announced to launch their third smartphone in the Note 3 series. The Coolpad Note 3 that was launched in early 2015 was the most affordable smartphone with 3GB RAM at that time. Later the company also launched the Note 3 Lite priced at Rs. 6,999 and offered 3GB RAM and 13MP camera. Today, the company had officially launched the Note 3 Plus with an upgraded display.
The device comes with same 5.5-inch display size as on Note 3, but sports Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali-T720 GPU. It comes with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. There is also a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion upto 64GB.
It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with CoolUI 6.0 overlaid. On the camera part, the Note 3 Plus includes a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. It has the same 5MP front camera as on Note 3 and Note 3 Lite for capturing selfies. The fingerprint sensor can be found in the rear of the device. It is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with fast charging support that might give more than a day of usage.
The Note 3 Plus supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G on only one SIM. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. The device will be available in White and Gold colors. It is priced at Rs. 8,999 and will be exclusively sold through Amazon India starting from May 13th. Stay tuned for more updates!
