Cherry Mobile Launches Flare 5, Flare S5, Flare S5 Plus, Flare S5 Power & Flare Infinity starting PHP 5499

Cherry Mobiles has announced five new devices in the Flare series with a starting price of PHP 5,499. Most of these devices come with similar specifications and these devices will be successors of the Flare 4, Flare 5, Flare S5 and Flare S5 Plus which were launched last year. The announced devices are Flare 5, Flare S5, Flare S5 Plus, Flare S5 Power and Flare Infinity. This device almost sport similar specifications and pricing with some minute changes. Let us have a look at specs of each one.

Cherry Mobile Flare 5 comes with a 5 inch HD AMOLED display with 1280 x 720 resolutions with 2.5D curved glass giving a pixel density of 294PPI. To power the device there is a 64 Bit 1.3 GHz Octa-core MT6753 processor coupled with Mali T720 and 3GB of RAM. The onboard memory on Flare 5 is 16GB which can be extended up to a maximum of 64 GB via microSD card slot.

On the rear, there is a 16 MP camera with LED flash along with an 8 MP camera which also has LED flash support. To power the device there is a 2500 mAh battery on the back and have the regular connectivity options and sensors. The device runs out of the box with Android Marshmallow 6.0 and is priced at PHP 5,499 which is the cheapest of the lot.

The Cherry Mobile Flare S5 comes with the same specifications as the Flare 5 but the Flare S5 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels and there is also a smaller battery of 2400 mAh instead of 2500 mAh found in Flare 5. This device comes with SB Type-C connector and is priced at PHP 5,699.

Cherry Mobile Flare S5 Plus also comes with the same specifications as the Flare S5, except for the screen size which has been increased to 5.5-inches with and FHD IPS panel that gives a resolution of 401 PPI. There is also an increase in the internal store from 16GB to 32GB. Even this device comes with a Fingerprint sensor as well as USB Type-C connector and is priced at PHP 8,999.

The Cherry Mobile Flare Power comes with a 5.5-inch FHD LTPS display with 2.5D curved glass powered with 1.3 GHz 64 Bit MT6753 octa-core processor coupled with Mali T70 GPU and 3 GB of RAM. The onboard memory on the device is 16GB which can be extended up to a maximum of 64GB via microSD card. Flare Power comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with a mammoth 6050 mAh battery on the back.

There is a Fingerprint sensor to enhance the security levels, and at the rear, there is a 13 MP AF camera with LED flash accompanied with 5MP camera on the front for video calling. The device has conventional sensors and connectivity options and is priced at PHP 7,999.

Cherry Mobile Flare Infinity comes with upgraded specifications compared to the other devices in the list. It will be sporting a 5.5-inch FHD display with 2.5D curved glass giving a pixel density of 401PPI. To power the handset there is a 2.0 GHz Bit Helio P10 Octa-core processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and Mali T860 GPU.

There is a16 MP f/2.0 Samsung S5K3P3 sensor with PDAF and dual tone LED flash with a 5 MP selfie camera. The company has provided a fingerprint sensor on the side of the device with the AW8727 independent amplifier. There is a 3000 mAh battery on the rear with Android Operating system, and there are sensors like Accelerometer and proximity sensors with 4G LTE connectivity. The Flare Infinity is priced at PHP 12,999 and will be available around November 2016.
