According to folks at XDA Developers and users on Reddit, Activision has teamed up with Tencent Games, the same video gaming holding company of PUBG, to launch the Call of Duty: Legends of War for Android. It is the first person shooter version of Call of Duty for mobile platforms. The new game is set to bring the Call of Duty universe to Android users, at least for now. It is surely a multiplayer game that includes gaming modes such as – Free4All, Search & Destroy, Team Deathmatch and Frontline alongside a zombie mode as well. The game also brings the iconic Call of Duty characters, Price and Ghost, for instance.
The report further reveals that the Call of Duty: Legends of War has also been soft-launched in Google Play Store for Australian users as well. The availability of the game to the users globally is yet to be known, however, if you are interested in trying out the beta release of the Call of Duty game, you need to download the apk from the here – once downloaded, head over to the downloaded apk file and install the game on your android device.
After installing start the gameplay, you would be stuck at the loading screen, for a while. You need not worry, exit the gameplay completely, force close the app if necessary. Further, you need to install the OBB file for the gameplay, so, you need to head over to this link and download the OBB file (ZIP file). Do note that the file size would be around 1GB.
After the extraction, navigate through file manager app on your Android device > internal storage > Android folder > OBB > create com.activision.callofduty.shooter folder – and then you need to extract the downloaded zip file to this folder. That’s it and you are done, restart the Call of Duty: legends of war game and embrace the new battle Royale gameplay from the iconic call of duty universe.
