BLU Studio 7.0 LTE Smartphone with 7″ Display & Snapdragon 410 SoC Launched at $200

The US-based smartphone manufacturer, BLU had launched a new 4G smartphone called ‘BLU Studio 7.0 LTE.’ The company mentioned this 7-inch tablet as a smartphone, which makes the Studio 7.0 LTE one of the largest smartphones. Earlier Lenovo had launched the Phab Plus with a screen size of 6.8-inches while Samsung came up with an 18.4-inches Galaxy View tablet.

Talking about the device, it comes with a 7-inch HD (1280×720) IPS display with a pixel density of 209ppi. The smartphone is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor coupled with Adreno 306 GPU and 1GB of RAM. It has 16GB of storage and can be further expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card slot.

The device runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with BLU UI on top of it. It has an 8MP rear camera with LED flash that can record videos in 1080p resolution at 30fps; there is also a 2MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. It also includes dual SIM card slots with 4G LTE support.

The 3,700mAh battery included within the tablet can give a single of mixed usage. It will be available in the colors- Ceramic White, Luxury Gold, Midnight Blue, and Sandstone Gray. The tablet is priced at $200 in the U.S and can be purchased through Amazon. Earlier this month, the company had also launched the two smartphone Energy X and Studio Energy 2 that are priced at $179 and $109 respectively.

Both the smartphones come with a 5-inch HD display while the Studio Energy 2 comes with AMOLED panel. The Studio Energy 2 is powered by MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor along with 1.5GB of RAM. The USP of the device is its 5,000mAh battery that can give up to 3 days of talk time and can last up to 20 days on standby.

The Energy X is powered by MediaTek MT6580 processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with a 4,000mAh battery that can last deliver upto 3 days  of talk time and lasts up to 30 days on standby. Since the Energy X comes with basic specifications, even the 4,000mAh battery lasts more than the 5,000mAh battery on Studio Energy 2.
