Nubia is one of the smartphone companies to continuously launch the bezel-less smartphones. Last year, it came with the 5.5-inch Nubia Z9 smartphone with bezel-less display and earlier this year, the company also launched its successor Nubia Z11 in China with the same bezel-less display. At the IFA 2016, Nubia announced to the Nubia  Z11 and Z11 Mini to be made available in most of the global markets. In October, the Nubia Z11 Mini was launched in India at Rs. 12,999 and is exclusively sold through Amazon India. Now, the company has sent out the press invites for the launch of Nubia Z11 and Nubia N1 in the Indian market on December 14th.

Nubia Z11

It sports a two-sided bezel-less AMOLED display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and is powered by the 2.15GHz Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. The device also supports FiT 2.0 (Frame Interactive Technology) gestures that work with the swiping on the frame of the device. While in China, the Nubia Z11 came in two variants with 4GB and 6GB RAM featuring 64GB and 128GB of internal storage respectively. There is a 16MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, OIS, PDAF, and LED flash. On the front is an 8MP selfie camera with f/2.4 aperture.

The device is backed by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery and comes with in-house NeoPower fast charging technology. It supports dual SIM dual standby with the help of hybrid SIM slot. The fingerprint sensor is placed on the rear of the device. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. In China, the device was launched with Android 5.1 Lollipop based Nubia UI out of the box. Now, we can at least expect it to come with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

Nubia N1

In July this year, the company announced the all new N series by launching the Nubia N1 smartphone in China. It comes with an all metal body with some decent mid-range specifications. Unlike the Nubia Z11, the Nubia N1 came with Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Nubia 4.0 UI. Though it comes with the same 5.5-inch screen size with Full HD resolution, it lacks the AMOLED panel as on the Nubia Z11. It is powered by the last year’s MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

There is also a MicroSD card slot for further expansion of storage. As seen on Nubia Z11, the Nubia N1 also sports the fingerprint sensor on the rear. On the camera front, there is a 13MP camera on front and back of the device. While the rear camera comes assisted by LED flash, the front camera supports screen flash which brightness the display. It is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that can easily last more than a day of usage. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers basic connectivity features.
