Honor has launched the Honor 5X and Holly 2 Plus smartphones priced at Rs. 12,999 & Rs. 8,499 respectively. Both the devices will be available online and exclusively sold through Flipkart and Amazon. The Honor 5X is the mid-range device with an all-metal body, and the Honor Holly 2 comes with a plastic body. Honor Holly 2 Plus is the same device that was launched in China as Huawei Enjoy 5. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back of Honor 5X.

The Honor 5X sports a 5.5-inch 1080p display and is powered by the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor while the Holly 2 comes with a 5-inch 720p display and includes a MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor. Both the smartphones come with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage. The 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera also remains same on both the devices. The CDMA support on the Holly 2 makes it a recommended choice for CDMA network users.

Panasonic Eluga Turbo wrap

Panasonic Eluga Turbo is the latest smartphone from the company that comes with a metallic frame and glass on the back. It is priced same as LeTV Le 1s, but can with basic specifications. The 5-inch IPS display is limited to just HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution. The front of the device is protected by a Dragontrail glass and on the back is a Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE connectivity. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The Eluga Turbo is backed by a 2,350mAh battery that might fall short of lasting for a single day of usage. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a MicroUSB port. There is no fingerprint sensor which can be seen on most of the recently launched devices. It can be purchased exclusively through Snapdeal and is already available in stock in case anyone of you are interested.

Lenovo A7000 Turbo

Apart from launching Lenovo Vibe K4 Note, there is another smartphone ‘Lenovo A7000 Turbo’ which was listed on company’s website. The device is the successor for the K3 Note and almost borrows the design from it. The A7000 Turbo comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display same as its predecessor and also supports all the both the LTE bands in India. Under the hood is the MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz along with 2GB of RAM.

It has 16GB of onboard storage and can be further expanded additionally upto 32GB. It has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI 2.0 overlaid. The dual SIM device offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It will be available only in Black color. Coming to the availability of the device, it can be purchased from official Lenovo stores.

Gionee Marathon M5 Lite wrap

A couple of months back, Gionee came up with a new variant of Marathon M5. The new Marathon M5 Lite comes with a similar design and but a slightly smaller battery. The device is priced at Rs. 12,999 and comes only in Gold color. It sports a 5-inch HD IPS display and is powered by a 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core SoC. There is 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage while in China it was launched only with 1GB RAM. The device supports runs on customized Amigo UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

It has an 8MP sensor with an LED flash on the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. The device is backed a 4,000mAh non-removable battery which the company claims to give three days of normal usage and a39 days on standby. It measures 143 x 69.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 182 grams. The dual SIM device supports 4G LTE along with other basic connectivity options. It comes with a plastic removable back cover with an Aluminum frame around the device.

ASUS Zenfone Max

While the M5 Lite from well-known Marathon series came with a 4,000mAh battery, Asus has launched the earlier announced Zenfone Max with a whopping 5,000mAh battery. It comes with a metallic frame and a removable back cover. It features a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage along with a MicroSD card slot. This is the first smartphone from Asus to offer such a long battery life.

Coming to the camera, it has a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls. The device supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE. The 5,000mAh on this device is said to last 38 hours of talk time and lasts upto 914 hours on standby. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, MicroUSB port along with 4G LTE. The device is already available via all the major online stores in India and within the next few weeks, the company also promised to bring to the offline stores.

Lenovo has launched three new devices last month in the Indian market; the Vibe K4 Note is one from the list that was launched exclusively for the Indian market. The Vibe K4 Note is the same Vibe X3 Lite that was launched in China. It is priced at Rs. 11,999 and comes with some impressive specifications that no other global brand has ever offered at this price. The device looks premium in hand with its slim design and also offers a dual front facing stereo speakers.

It comes with a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD resolution and is protected with Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Vibe UI overlaid and we also expect it to receive the Android 6.0 Marshmallow in future. The device also features a fingerprint sensor and sports a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a 5MP front camera. It is backed by a 3,300mAh battery and includes dual SIM slots with 4G LTE support. It is sold exclusively through Amazon India via flash sales.

The LeEco Le 1s is the best smartphone that was launched in India and comes priced under Rs. 15,000. It comes with a unibody made out of Aluminum and gives a premium in-hand feel with its slim design. The bezel-less 5.5-inch display and the mirrored fingerprint sensor are the additional beauties of this device. It is powered by an Helio X10 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

It has a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The Lava V5 is the mid-range smartphone priced at Rs. 11,499 and will be available across India through retail stores. The USP of the device lies in its camera, where it has a 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, dual LED flash, and PDAF. It also attracts many selfie lovers with its 8MP front camera ith 84-degree wide angle lens and f/2.2 aperture. The front-facing LED flash doesn’t make you miss the selfies even in the dark.

Coming to the other specifications, it sports a 5.5 inch HD display along with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
