Earlier today, ASUS announced that an LTE supported model of the ZenPad Z10 Tablet is headed to Verizon exclusively. This is a mid-range tablet with not so fancy specs or features but do offers a good value for money. so basically we are talking about the ASUS ZenPad Z10 ZT500KL. This tablet sports a 9.7″ display on the front and a couple of other interesting specs as well and it will cost you only $329.99.
Well, talking about the specs of the device, as mentioned, it sports a 9.7″ display on the front with a resolution of 2048×1536 and also has a 178-degree viewing angle. Powering the device is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset which is an hexa-core CPU under the hood which is coupled with 3GB of RAM. The tablet also comes with a 32GB of internal storage which is expandable upto a 128GB via a microSD card for added space, which you will definitely need if you are planning to use this for media consumption.
The tablet runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box with the company’s ZenUI on top of it and as of now the company has not mentioned anything about the support for Nougat update which is the latest version of Android available in the market. The tablet also has dual stereo speakers with DTS-HD audio support as well. All this definitely makes it a great device for media consumption. And as it might be clear already that the device supports 4G LTE as well.
The tablet has a USB Type-C port at the bottom for charging and data syncing and it is kept powered by a 7,800 mAh battery, which should be good enough to keep it powered by a day or two depending upon the usage. The tablet will be available to purchase from the Verizon’s offline stores as well as their online stores if you are willing to buy one starting October 13th. You can get it for $329.99 upfront or also get it for $0 upfront and pay $13.74 by 24 monthly instalments. Do make a note that the tablet comes in only one color option which is Slate Grey.
