How to insert the SIM card on your Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe?
Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe is dual SIM smartphone and supports dual standby. To insert a SIM on your device, Switch off the device, remove the back panel. You will find two sim card slots on the back panel facing each other. SIM1 port supports 2G/3G/4G, can be used for internet and SIM2 supports 2G, can be used for calling. Insert the SIM in respective slots as marked in the direction. Now boot your device, you have successfully inserted SIM card.
How to share your Data network via Tethering on the Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe?
You can share the internet with others by enabling the tethering/ hotspot option on your device. To enable this on Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, open the settings, click on More In wireless and networks. Further click on tethering & portable hotspot and enable the type of hotspot you want to use. In this, you can manually set the password and Network name of the device and also can select the type of security mode.

Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe has got and inbuilt kids mode option on this device. It helps you secure your device when you give your device to children. All you need to do is activate the kids mode and select the apps that you want to appear in kids mode and save it. To enable, Tap on the kids mode app, set a password and select the apps and save. Once it is done, the rest of the screen won’t be accessed. If you want to come out from the kids mode, you need to tap on the exit button. Now enter the pin and click OK to exit.

The power saving mode helps you to increase the battery life in case of emergency. To enable this option on your device, click on setting, scroll down to device list and click on battery. Further, click on the menu button and tap on power saver and click on battery modes. There are two types of battery modes available on this device, Smart-saving mode, and Ultra-saving mode. These two saving modes can be customized as per the requirement of the user. The Ultra-saving mode maximizes the battery life and disconnects the network connection when the it is active. The device comes in Two layouts One layer mode and Two layer mode. One layer mode, It does not include All apps button. So all the apps are available on the home screen and easy to use. Two layer mode, it includes the All app button and is same as that of original Android experience. To set this on your device, long-press on the home screen/ swipe from button manage home appears on the screen. Now, tap and preferences and in the new list tap on layouts. Further, you can change from one layer mode to two layer mode by tapping on apply button.

What are the touch gestures on this device and how to use them?
Touch gestures help you to access your device by launching the apps with some gestures. These gestures are used in two different modes wakeup mode and suspend mode. To access these gestures on your Asus Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Open the settings, click on ZenMotion and Tap on touch gesture. Further, click on Off button to enable this on your device. The different screen on gestures available on this device are you can double tap to suspend/lock the device. To wake up your device, you can again double tap on the screen. Screen Off gesture include W- to launch the browser app, S- to launch the messaging app. The other gestures used in suspended mode are, e- to launch email app, C- to launch the camera app, Z- to launch Asus Boost, and V- to launch the phone.
What are the Motion gestures available on this device?
Shake Shake is the motion gesture present on this device. To use this feature on your device, open the Settings, Click on ZenMotion and then tap on Motion gesture. Further, click on the off button to enable. Once it is enabled, tap on the shake shake to enable the motion feature. What are ASUS customization settings and how can you use them?
ASUS customization settings help you to customize few option on your device like recent key functions. In this, you can select any function for your recent key, i.e. if you enable tap and hold to capture, it captures the screen shot. It opens the Manage home menu if you select tap and to show menu else it will show the recent apps. Screenshot format, the file can be saved either in JPEG or else PNG format. Glove mode helps you to increase the touch sensitivity when you wear gloves to your hands. App installation settings help you to install app either in internal storage or external storage. Easy mode provides you a friendly interface experience with simple layout and core functions. To enable this on your device, Open the settings, head over to personal, and tap on Easy mode. Now, click on the Off button to enable it. The mode of your device now changed from normal mode to the easy mode where you can add apps on your screen by tapping the Add button and selecting the apps. You can also access the apps from More Apps button on the home screen in this mode.
