Asus X00GD Smartphone spotted on TENNA with 5.2” Display & 4850mAh Battery

Another smartphone has popped up from Asus, code named X00GD the handset has been listed on the certification website TENNA. According to the listing given, the new handset will run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box which will make it the first device from the company to ship the latest OS. Nothing about the pricing is known yet but is expected to come in multiple variants to make sure it is covering the midrange and high range section. Recently, we have seen Asus releasing the devices like Asus Zenfone AR, Asus Zenpad Z, Asus Z01FD, and few other devices in the past.

The listing says the Asus X00GD will be coming with a 5.2-inch display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolutions and will be measuring 149.5 mm x 73.7 mm x 8.85 mm and weights 16.95 grams. Under the hood, there is a 1.5GHz octa-core processor but the chipset is not mentioned. Moreover, it is expected to come in 2GB/3GB and 4GB RAM variants with storage options of 16GB/32GB and 64GB. It might also feature a microSD card with a storage support of up to 128GB.

Asus X00GD will be coming with a 13MP camera on the rear with LED flash accompanied with 8MP sensor on the front. To power the device on the back, there is a 4850mAh battery that should be enough to power the handset for an entire day. From the image, we can also see a physical home button on the bottom and a dual-LED flash on the back. It will be coming with other essential features that we have seen on all the smartphones.

We can expect Asus X00GD to be unveiled soon and we might get more leaks in the coming days, although we can expect some changes in the specifications.
