Apple launched the Apple Watch series 1 about two years back. They also refreshed it with the series 2, however, there were no physical changes to the overall design of the watch. However, now we have some new reports which claim that the company will launch the new range of Apple Watch along with the new iPhones, later this year. And if you are expecting some new changes, then it looks like you are in for a treat.
According to the source, the new Apple Watch series 3 will bring a variety of differnet features to the table. One of the most interesting thing which we have learned about the new Apple Watch Series 3 is that it doesn’t need to be tethered your iPhone. Yes, the new Series 3 Watch will support data connectivity on its own. And the fact that it will have support for 4G LTE, it should be able to receive and send text messages in social media. Basically, it will be like an iPad running on LTE connectivity.
As of now, it is not exactly clear if users will be able to make or take calls directly from the Watch, however, we hope that it will also be possible. There were rumors that Apple was working on an LTE version of the Series 2 watch and hence we believe that this particular new variant will certainly have that feature. And another piece of information which we have is related to the form factor of the new series watch.
According to an Apple analyst and insider John Gruber, the new variant may have a new design, something which we haven’t seen from Apple before. However, as of now, we can’t confirm if the new design means a completely new form factor or just a redesigned square Apple Watch, which we already have in the market. Either way, we are thrilled to see what Apple can come up with. Having said that, we would like to know your thoughts on this and hence be sure to leave your opinions in the comment section below.
