Apple may have just teased a Jet White iPhone 7, but don’t get too excited just yet

Apple launched the new iPhones for this year, the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus and probably the most controversial topics about them has to be the new Jet Black color variant of the smartphones. While the Jet Black color looks elegant and classy, it is a known fact that it is a scratch and fingerprint magnet. Yes, even Apple has suggested using a case when you are going with the Jet Black variant. Amidst all this, few people started speculating that it is the black color that makes the fingerprint and the scratches visible. And this is when the rumors about a new Jet White variant started surfacing the internet.
Back in the month of November, we had reported about the existence of the plans of Apple launching a new Jet White variant of the smartphones. Well, it turns out that recently, the company posted an Instagram picture which got too many people excited for no reason. An Instagram picture which was posted on the official account of beatsbydre shows a black Studio Wireless Beats by Dre headphone. Well, no one really cared about the headphones in the photo honestly because just by the side of the headphones, an iPhone was also resting on top of a passport as you can see in the image below.
When you take a look at the iPhone, it is not going to take you much time to figure out the strange difference in the color since it is something that no one else has in the market just yet. Hence everyone started speculating that the company may have just teased a new Jet White iPhone variant. But thanks to the folks over at AppleInsider, they proved everyone wrong by running a bunch of tests on Photoshop and figured out the iPhone in question is not a Jet white variant. They said that it is most likely a silver variant which appears as white due to the Instagram filter which was applied on the image. Well, that killed a lot of excitement, didn’t it?
While the iPhone in the image could be a silver iPhone, it still remains a mystery as to why Apple would do something like and confuse everyone around. Well, who knows, maybe indeed they are planning to launch another Jet White variant and just wanted to see how everyone would react? We cannot speculate around this any further since we don’t have any other proof to support and hence we suggest you to sit back and wait until they launch the next year’s iPhones. With that said, if you want to stay updated on this, then be sure to stay tuned to PhoneRadar for more details on the same.
