Apple Launch Makes OnePlus 6T Event Preponed to October 29th

OnePlus was earlier rumored to unveil the OnePlus 6T on October 17th. However, the company has officially confirmed the launch event to be held on October 30th. Unlike earlier, the company is holding the global and India launch events on the same day. Earlier this week, Apple has scheduled an event on the same day in New York. While the OnePlus 6T global launch is also taking place in New York, the company now preponed its launch event to a day before, that is 29th October.

Just like the earlier launches, OnePlus also sold the tickets for its launch event. Since the event is now preponed, the company is offering a full refund to the ticket holders who can’t attend the event on the new date. For those who are attending the event, OnePlus is offering to cover the extra travel expenses cause due to the date change. Talking about the India launch event, it will go on as per the earlier announcement.

The New York launch event is now more important than ever for the company as it will partnering for the first time with the US carriers. OnePlus is expected to partner with Verizon and T-mobile for its upcoming OnePlus 6T smartphone. While the Oneplus 6T is quite popular in the unlocked segment, the carriers should help the company to reach wider audiences.
