Apple iPhone Q3 FY16 Sales Expected to Drop by 14% Year over Year

Apple in the Q2 FY16 had experienced the revenue drop for the first time in the last thirteen years. Now the company is expected to announce consecutive sales drop with the Q3 FY16 results which will be made official tomorrow. Apple is forecasted to sold just 41 million devices in the Q3 FY16 which is 14% decrease over the year-ago quarter. The company came up with a new device called iPhone SE that sports a 4-inch display which is said to cross the companies expectations

Even though the iPhone SE is successful,  Apple might see 14% lesser sales when compared to Q3 FY15 where there is no new iPhone launched. Apart from the developed markets, the company is also looking to increase its market in other emerging markets including India. Apple had earlier invested one billion USD in the Chinese company and is set to open retail outlets in India soon. The company sales said to be declined by 15% when compared to year-ago quarter.

The official details will be announced in less than a day, so stay tuned for even more details. Apple is rumored to launch next-gen iPhones on September 16th event. This year’s iPhones might come with some innovative features like skipping 3.5mm audio port, a smart connector port, and few others. Along with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the company is rumored to unveil the third device called iPhone 7 Pro which sports dual rear camera setup.

The device will be running on the latest iOS 10 which was recently announced at the WWDC. We can also see some changes in the camera department as the leaked images show a bigger rear camera lens on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Much like the earlier years, the coming quarters will be good for the company as we will see some new iPhone launches. Stay tuned for more updates in the coming days!
