Bharti Airtel, the leading telecom giant in the country, has announced a surprised pack where users can get 1GB of 4G/3G data at just Rs 51. In the wake of Jio Preview Offer, which promises unlimited 4G data and voice for 90 days. Airtel has taken several measures to make sure that when JIO commercial launch happens, it doesn’t lose it’s customers to MNP.
Though, do make a note that there is a catch in this Mega Saver Pack that is announced by telecom firm. You would have to pay an upfront amount, depending upon the need. If you are looking to enjoy reduced 4G/3G data pack for six months or else twelve months, there are separate packs for each period.
The 12 months pack would fetch you Rs 1498, where you can enjoy 1GB 4G/3G data upfront with a validity of 28 days. After the data limit is exhausted, or validity is finished, you’d have to recharge again.
But the interesting part is that the same 1GB 4G/3G data that cost more than Rs 250 (depending upon the circle) will be available for just Rs 51. While if you’re interested in a six months plan, then the upfront amount is Rs 748, while after finishing up 1GB 4G/3G data you can recharge the same 1GB data at just Rs 99.
This Mega Saver Pack is quite good for users who recharge their mobile number on the mostly basis for the data usage. If you don’t have a problem to pay upfront, then this is quite an offer that you shouldn’t refuse. As when calculated, the 12 months plan would reduce your monthly bill to Rs 175 from Rs 259, while it would come down to Rs 233 if you opt for six months plan.
Note that this plan is currently active in Delhi Circle, while the telecom giant claims to launch it in other circles by August 31st, which isn’t quite far. This way brand is planning to keep its customers from getting jumped on another mobile operator. Other being Reliance Jio.
