Acer Liquid Zest with Quad-core Processor & Android Marshmallow Announced

Acer has revealed its latest flagship, Liquid Jade 2 at the MWC stage in Barcelona with a quite unique hybrid cloud storage. But it is not the only handset that company has announced today. The brand has released two new handsets in its affordable range; they are called Liquid Zest and Liquid Zest 4G. Both the handsets sport similar specifications except for the fact that Zest 4G would have 4G connectivity while Zest doesn’t have that.
These handsets pack a 5-inch 720p resolution IPS display and is powered by a Quad-core processor, but note that Zest clocks at 1.3GHz while Zest 4G clocks at 1.0GHz and thus the 4G connectivity difference maybe. Though, company hasn’t specified the maker of the chipset. They both run on the latest Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS with custom interface design by the company.
The camera package on these handsets is decent for mid-range; as it sports an 8-megapixel module on the rear side while the 5-megapixel module on the front side. The rear sensor is accompanied by autofocus and LED Flash features as well as it has an aperture number of f/2.0. While talking about the selfie camera, it has an 85-degree wide angle lens.
The Taiwanese brand touts the DTS Sound Studio technology used on these handsets make them quite good for media viewing. As it offers bigger sound field, higher vocal clarity and sharper details. The non-LTE model is priced at Euro 109 while the LTE model will fetch you Euro 149; that’s quite the difference between those two models. The handsets would be available for purchase sometime in April this year.
