10000mAh Mi Power Bank 3 with 18W USB Type-C 2-way Fast Charging Launched
Xiaomi is one of the smartphone brands to sell its own branded power banks in the market. Just like its smartphones, the Mi power banks are quite popular because of their cheap price tag and best-in-class features. Back in October last year, the company launched the Mi Power Bank 2i in 10,000mAh and 20,000mAh capacities. Both these power banks are made in India and come with two-way fast charging support.
Now, the company launched a new 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 3 in China. It looks similar to the Mi Power Bank 2 with the aluminum alloy case and is priced at CNY 129 (approx USD 19 / INR 1,300). Earlier this year, the company already launched the 20,000mAh Mi Power Bank 3 for CNU 199 in China. Talking about the 10000mAh Mi Power Bank 3, it comes with one USB Type-A and one USB Type-C port for charging other devices.
The USB Type-C port or the MicroUSB port can be used for charging the power bank. It supports up to 18W (9V/2A & 12V/1.5A) two-way fast charging. To fully charge the 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 3, it takes up to 4 hours using the 9V/2A (18W) adapter and up to 6 hours using the 5V/2A (10W) adapter. There are four LEDs on the top to indicate the remaining battery capacity. It will be sold in Silver and Black color options.
The 10,000mAh Mi Power Bank 3 measures 147 x 71.2 x 14.2 mm. Xiaomi is also providing a MicroUSB to USB Type-C convertible charging cable along with the power bank. As of now, there is no information about the availability of the Mi Power Bank 3 in the Indian market. Just like the Mi Power Bank 2i, the company might launch the Mi Power bank 3 as Mi Power Bank 3i with ‘Made in India’ tag. Stay tuned on Phone Radar for more details!
