ZTE is a well known brand, for coming up with smartphones that are priced less for what they offer. A recent one from the company was a device with a fingerprint scanner, carrying a price tag of just $145. Now, the new smartphone that was just announced, again is a budget device but has something good to offer for the users always in need of a long lasting battery.
The ZTE Q519T comes with a 4000 mAh battery, and that according to the manufacturer, has a standby time of about 35 days. To get the most out of the battery, there are three battery saving modes included in the OS, and the device also supports OTG reverse charging technology.
A 5-inch 720p display is what we see on the front (though, no Gorilla Glass protection), and under that, is a Mediatek MT6735 processor (quad-core 1GHz CPU, Mali T720MP1 GPU, 1GB of RAM) and 8GB of internal storage. There’s a MicroSD card slot as well, allowing storage expansion to a maximum of 32GB. On the back of the phone, is a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chats.
Android 5.0 Lollipop is pre-installed with ZTE’s own UI layered over it, and this Dual SIM smartphone is capable of 4G LTE connectivity, with the other options include Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, and USB 2.0. The ZTE Q519T will be available in blue, gold or white color options. Though nothing else is detailed about the battery, the standby time of 35 days seems interesting for a phone with this capacity.
The smartphone is launched in China, and could be possibly limited to only the local market.
