ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini get new update, brings VoLTE support & Enhanced Camera Features

ZTE Nubia Z9 Max and Mini

The ZTE Nubia Z9 Mini that was launched in India couple of years back is now getting updated which will bring VoLTE support along with many other features. ZTE’s Nubia brand has made this official update and it now live wherein, the users can download the update from the official Nubia website for India. The Nubia UI 4.0 update also brings Nubia’s Frame Interactive Technology, which will let its consumers control their smartphones through the screen edges.

The device was launched in India for a price of Rs. 16,999 and the update also brings a new calendar app and also a new my file for an easy usage. Coming to the device, the Nubia Z9 mini is the sibling of ZTE Nubia sports a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection on top giving a pixel density of 441 ppi. To power the handset there is a 2900 mAh battery which will last an entire day with normal usage.

Under the hood, there is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (quad-core Cortex-A53 1.5GHz + quad-core Cortex-A53 1GHz) processor coupled with 2GB RAM. On the camera front there is a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor, LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture which is accompanied with an 8-megapixel front facing camera with Sony IMX179 Exmor R sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The onboard memory on the device is 16GB which can be expandable via microSD card up to a maximum of 128GB.

Well, this update will not be available OTA update, and the user needs to download it manually from the official website as mentioned above. Do you own the ZTE Nubia Z9 mini device?
