Earlier this month, a new 6-inch smartphone from YU is imported to India, and now another device with the model number YU5200 is imported recently. While the Zauba listing shows the device to come with a 5.2-inch display, there is even more information found on GFXbench. We expect it to be YU Yureka 3, the third device in the Yureka series.
The Yureka and Yureka Plus are the first two devices that are launched with the same design but with few differences in specifications. The same YU5200 was earlier rumored to be launched alongside the flagship YU Yutopia. The 5.2-inch display of Yureka 3 comes with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. It has 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot.
The GFXbench listing shows the Yureka 3 to be powered by the Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, but we expect it to come with the recently launched processor from Snapdragon 600 series. It has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and autofocus, and a 5MP front camera that can record videos in Ful HD resolution. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and might be upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
It comes with dual SIM dual standby support and offers 4G LTE connectivity. Since the device is imported for Rs. 9,000 the final retail pricing can be around Rs. 12,000. With these specifications, the Yureka 3 faces stiff competition from the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 & LeEco Le 1S.
