XOLO Era

The Indian brand XOLO is trying to stick to the competition in the budget range smartphone market, as the recent teaser from the company on its official Twitter account talks about a device with some decent specs, priced much lower than the competitor smartphones. Named as XOLO Era, the phone is said to be coming soon, and the registration process for its sale to begin in three days from now. As we talk of registrations, we might see this landing on Flipkart and to be sold via. flash sales.

Xolo’s Black, another smartphone that is being teased, will be launched on July 10th, and we expect the Era to be announced on the same day. Not a lot is mentioned in the teaser picture, but whatever is given, it surely makes us feel that the price is one of the factors why one would be interested about it.

The XOLO Era is said to be coming with a 5-inch display (though the resolution is known, even a qHD won’t hurt), and it is the IPS display being used. There will be a 2100 mAh battery packed into the device, and the Era will be supporting USB OTG connectivity. On the back of the device will be a 8-megapixel camera, along with a flash.

No other specs are known, so we aren’t sure yet whether the Era will have a chipset from Qualcomm, or Mediatek or some other maker, and we’ll wait to get more details about the Android version, display resolution, and its front-facing camera.

Stay tuned for July 10th, around which some more details will be available and we will then know about the specs and the sale date for the budget phone from XOLO.
