The images also reveal the minimal bezel front side and rumored to have a 16MP+5MP camera on the rear which will be accompanied with a front-facing camera.

It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 660 or a MediaTek Helio P25 processor and will be powered by a 4000mAh battery. It is expected to come with 3GB or 4GB of RAM memory and might come with a 32GB/64GB storage option. Xiaomi is ready to unveil another smartphone called as the Redmi Note 5. The handset has been spotted online at the US FCC authority site and the device will be the successor of the Redmi Note 4 which was launched in August last year. The leaked device comes with a model number 2016102, but it is not sure if the upcoming device is Redmi Note 5 only. Although the rumors claim the handset to be Redmi Note 5, we need to wait and see until there is an official word from Xiaomi.

According to the listing, the device is going to come with MIUI 8 OS out of the box. Not many details are known for now, but it will be a Dual SIM variant and features 4G LTE connectivity with VoLTE. There are other connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. and is powered by a 4000mAh battery on the back. We can expect more leaks to come in the upcoming days and we can get other specifications also.

The Redmi Note 4 which has seen a good market sale in its home country is going to be launched soon in India. The Indian variant is expected to feature Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor instead of Helio X20 octa-core processor and the device sports a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display and offers a pixel density of 403 ppi with a 2.5D glass on top. It sports a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP sensor on the front.

Under the hood, there is a Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor that comes with a clocking speed of 2GHz and coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. There is a 4100mAh non-removable battery and also has a metal body with chamfered edges giving better grip and an elegant look. The device will also come out of the box with Android 7.0 Nougat with MIUI 8 on top. Are you excited to know more about the Redmi Note 5?
