Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro with 3GB RAM, Fingerprint Sensor & 4100mAh Battery Launched in China

As announced earlier, Xiaomi has unveiled new home appliances under the new brand Mijia. Along with it, the company also announced the Xiaomi Redmi 3 Pro, which is the successor for the Redmi 3. The device is priced at 899 Yuan and comes with an added fingerprint sensor while the rest of the specifications remain same. The device will be available starting from the Mi Fan Festival that will be held on April 4th along with the ceramic variant of Mi 5 called as Mi 5 Pro and the curved MiTV 3S.

The Redmi 3 Pro features a 5-inch display with HD (1280 x 720) resolution. Under the hood is the 64-bit Snapdragon 616 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with 3GB of RAM. It also has 32GB of internal storage along with a MicroSD card slot for storage expansion up to 32GB. The device supports dual SIM dual standby by using a hybrid SIM slot where you can place a MicroSD card instead of the second SIM. It runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with MIUI 7 overlaid.

In the camera department, the device includes a 13MP rear camera with PDAF and LED flash. On the front, we can find a 5MP selfie camera for selfies and video calls. The device is backed by a 4,100mAh battery that can easily last for more than a day of usage. It will be available in the colors Silver, Grey and all new Gold color. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port.
