Vivo XPlay 5 to feature Laser Projector & Android, Windows Dual-Boot Option & 6 GB RAM

The Vivo XPlay 5 has been in the news for the recent teaser images which confirmed the device to come with specifications that aren’t available on any other device till date. It will be equipped with a whopping 6GB of RAM and will be powered by the Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. While the scheduled launch event is just a day away, now we got some extra information which makes it even more special.

It comes with a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with dual edge screen. While the specifications make the Vivo XPlay 5 a beast when compared to the recently launched flagships. The leaked screenshot of the Antutu Benchmark reveals the device score of 1,62,610 which 20,000 more than 1,42,084 score of Xiaomi Mi 5 which is touted to be the top smartphone in the Antutu benchmarking app.

Now the recent leak makes this device even more interesting; the Vivo XPlay 5 will sport an in-built projector and runs on FunTouch OS with a dual boot option from choosing Android 6.0 Marshmallow or the Microsoft’s Windows 10 Mobile. While no other mainstream smartphone manufacturer has ever opted for a dual boot option, the Vivo has some hoe decided to bring both the OS under one device.

The laser projector is said to be placed on the right edge of the device which projects the keyboard for making the typing easier. The Vivo XPlay 5 with the high-end specifications and first of its kind features make it more special than the other flagships. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the rear that makes Vivo XPlay 5 a bit more secure. Let’s wait for few more hours to see the official specifications along with features that will make it to the final device.

As said earlier, the device comes with Hi-Fi 3.0 enabled sound for providing better sound quality. On the camera front, it sports a 16MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. There are even few rumors that the device is packed with a solar charging option, but without any confirmed sources backing this, we recommended you to take this with a pinch of salt.
